What Clutch?

Post by Riekert »

What kind of clutch can i get for my SX and where can I find it?

Nissan qouted me something like R3000 for the clutch and pressure plate and R1000 for fitment.

thats probably a wise choice.

you're running quite a high output on your motor right. it may be a wiser choice to upgrade your clutch plate and pressure plate the way chemcool and draco did.

they took their old clutches in and had the clutch plate rebuilt into a copper puck type, and the pressure plate was rebuilt with a double diaphragm. big improvement, still cheaper than nissan.

also sokar and phinx know a place to have clutch plates converted to copper puck types!

good luck.

Gary, This clutch kit was made up by Louis Lima @ Wesbank. He said to me give it some time and it will settle and shudder less. Exactly that happened. Awesome. Slight shudder initially but now a days perfect. It grips nicely. No regret at all. 8)

Cause I got a cutton clutch but is not taking the power since the latest mods so am in the market for a new one. My one now is great drives like a normal clutch and want to get something that will be the same.
