s13 clutch

Post by Gordy »

Hi guys...

One of my friends owns a s13 200sx and his car has been sitting on stilts for the past 2months because apparently there are no 200sx clutches in the country, so he has to specially import the clutch and hes still waiting...

Is this crap for real??I cant believe it!!!Do you guys know anywhere where he will be able to find a clutch?

thanks

He's buying from a Nissan Dealer right? Strangely the S13 doesn't show up in the clutch Product books at your normal clutch shops/Midas, apparently a Maxima's clutch fits, but rather don't take my word for it, someone else will probably be able to tell you exactly where to go. :D

I still have a Valeo clutch lying around did about 3000km with it, not the best for high power cars, but it works in stock form....

Think I can get Valeo part numbers, you can pick this up from your local parts shop...

Maxima clutch works, i'm nearly sure of it, another option is to have one built, Darco and ChemCool had double diaphragm 4 puk clutches built by Louis Lima

2 months?

Even with importing he should have had a clutch by now.

hit up www.rezlo.com or www.gotboost.co.za they may have some imported kits on hand.

theyr feeding him crap! For not 2 much more than standard poweq get a LUK R30MK or the R90MK. I have the r30mk. 10 000km+ and no problems other than a noisy thrust bearing. Cost me R580 iirc
