What would change if I took the thin black pipe from the power transister to the turbo air intake pipe(black rubber pipe from AFM to turbo air intake) out and keep it out, would I drastically influence something?

you need to block the hole that it came out of.
also, that little thingamijiggy (solenoid) controls the fuel pressure if your system is stock.
mine is completely gone, BUT... i am running an AFPR directly off my manifold, and i have mechanically set my idling!

Its basically the cold start solenoid... You'll notice if you exactly that on your system it will work fine on a hot day... cold morning comes your car will struggle to idle...
I've also done what VeeCee did, but I run Wolf3D

So how does this make your car idle on a cold day?

Like what was said earlier its the Idle control Valve...
I wouldn't remove it there is really no need to and the car Idles like Cr@p without it when cold. Trust me.
It controls the fuel pressure Via Vacuum by not allow Vacuum to the FPR it can increase the fuel pressure and the fuel injected at Idle
