Its not like the s13 has little space upfront, wonder why the thin rad. Well I suppose it works well enough, well at least when I had the stock rad it did until it sprung a leak.

yeah!

when i removed the fan cowling and the viscous fan and front pulleys and things, my immediate thought was that a straight 8 could go in there!

LOL - with many of the tasks during my rebuild i actually spent time standing/crouching in that space between engine and radiator!!!!

My car sits at 60 degrees when idling and on the freeway it goes up to 70 degrees. That is with the std viscous fan and radiator so I think it does the job quite fine.
