If I was doing a rebuild that was costing R8k or so I would want the best advice possible. I think the few people that could give that advice are now gone.

Piston Cap number 1 bearing was the Problem Maker
They are just checking the current crank to my second motors crank to match up the ACL race bearings closes to stock size.

Damn but the guy says I must get a Oil guage and Oil Temp gauge.
Guess I was being kind of stupied

do you mean the small end bearing???

and you didnt have gauges? having no gauges is worse than having guessometers!!! you know that?

I'm not really gauge fan, It like ridding a aircraft
But I will make a plan in the next few weeks,,,

ACL race is out, We cant find any damn bearings in JHB
My conrods are going in to be weight matched then polished I can expect the motor next week sometime

The crank is done the block is decked ... Ect

Was that a steel head gasket?? ARP studs?? Also what was the price of the Pistons??
