ok now that nobody knows what theyre talking about, i have decided to come up with the difinitive way. :D

no rankings, yes thats right, no numbers, like 1,2,3 anyway
before you get all warm and fuzzy about it, hear me out

we need a formula - points in stead of numbers!
then it works like this - you get points for entry into a race - that will keep the people that at least try to keep this thing going to keep on building their rep. i haven't got the energy at the moment to suggest how many points, but it will come to me.
Then, say the points are from 1 to 5 (to keep it simple), the winner gets 5 points (4 for winning and 1 for entry), the loser gets 1 for entry only. (maybe another one if he buys beers for everyone)

no classes - that will open a real can of worms. if you spend on your car, you deserve to win. also it will show the real world facts of how effective a mod is.

the points will keep the people racing, otherwise the list will stagnate with me at number 1 and everyone just accepting that im best and the list will die and no more racing.

if you decline a call-out twice in a row, you lose one point.
another idea that might even work better:
if the challenger has lower points than the challengee before te race, and wins, he gets a percentage of the points of the loser. That will give people the impetus to keep on challenging. that will also get someone the oportunity to climb the list faster if he deserves a higher rank, (especially a new member one year down the line) - if he has to climb 20 ranks to get to number 28 (when he has a fully flung RB26DETT under the hood with nos and nissan stickers) then he is simply not going to go through the effort to race.

now that we have finally decided, i will prepare my thank you speech.
i am also considering running for pres of zim.

sounds fair enough..

however, i'm not gonna go dice every tom dick and widowmaker every wednesday just cuz they want 1 point for losing against me.

Break into the 13s, and then come ask for a dice.

Is this list the reason Qwerty's car is back in my shop with a long list?

I like nismo200sx's suggestion - I'll be at the TOP OF THE LADDER!!!

Here's my suggestion:

- We meet up at Wesbank (for example) before the crowd
- Assuming we can use the drag strip, all interested parties line up for a run (else we choose a straight part of the track)
- Using a GTech Pro, we get some times
- We then rank eveyone by their time, after which we have a baseline
- We can then start the challenge

Why dont you make it only numbers count. You must go to a track get an official time and then you get on the list.

Whatever guys, the thing was to keep it simple, so Mr. President make a ruling and we stick to it, your suggestion of the wesbank thing is what I had in mind from the beginning.
