anyway - my suggestion again. keep it simple. no subcategories, and no great big arguments when you lose!!! you accept your loss gracefully! if you want to challenge to get your place back, then by all means - challenge!
we dont want this turning into a mods vs mods argument as it does on other forums.

Why don't Toby create a list of all the members in the order that they joined the forum.Make that the starting list AFTER the ONLY 2 guys on the list that have actually raced..Then anyone under the 15th spot can challenge anyone else.These 2 then move up in the rankings below the people that actually raced.From then on you can only challenge the person above you.You can have 3 chances to race someone ,let's say in a month period.If the guy above you doesn't come to the party ,he forfeits 5 places.Out of towners can challenge anyone up to 6th on the list for his first go at making the rankings.
Sounds simple enough to me!!
