You can use it on a CA18, its just you wont use it to its potential due to the kak motor
Hehe tell it the way it is hey, no bullshit between friends. I love your straight forward and bluntness, always a honest answer. Wish you posted more...

Just my 2c....Hondas have more exhaust gas to spin bigger turbo's-so that why the .86 Ar would be perfect for S2000.but Nissans dont have so much exhaust gas so you need a smaller Ar to get the turbo spool up.Most guys run like a 63 on Sr20 get to spool up quickly. On a rb25 this turbo will be boosting at 3000rpm already! But it's all up to what you want to do with your car anyways.
RAW , since you seem to have experience of this turbo, how would it work on RB26 ? I was thinking of fitting GT35R. But it sounds like the GT3076 with .82ar might work just fine.

I ran my 11.6 on a GT3076 .82ar, it packs some good punch.
To each his Own
If it had a good crank and decent aftermarket cams it wouldnt be so bad, but with a crank that likes to snap in half and no decent cam options, R10 000 for rods,,, its just pointless, youll spend 3 times more to make a CA18 make 300kw reliably than you would a SR20, and then still you wont have the torque or mid range... and considering this post is about a GT30 turbo it puts the CA18 way out on the right field,,, unless you like to throw tones of money at a motor to make mediocure results?

I agree with RAW on this. Thats why opted for the SR20 at the end of the day! KW means nothing to me, torque is the thing that gives me a smile from ear to ear when I floor it! And sorry to say, the CA18 aint gonna give you that! No matter how much money got!
