Can you spot the problem if your fifth or even one of the primaries fail when using a fifth injector setup?
And another thing, where's this injector gonna get fuel from? You gonna just Add a T to the line going to the current fuel rail?

But to slow,(joking)

. I have already put the word out to the rotor guys but I'm awaiting feed back ...
The AFM going to be the mission , I have that feeling

the injectors - get rudi/stephan's number from sokar. and phone to ask them. otherwise call arthur. he'll have plenty lying around!
the AFM - there are a few out there that will work. i reckon your best bet is NZ or OZ, or the UK(although its huge bucks). all the larger nissan engines from sedans to 4x4's!!! the largest is the one from the 4.5 v8 IIRC!!!
call the engine importers - that's where we got a stock AFM from a mazda 13bt.

but sokar, yes i have. have you been sleeping???
its been like that for weeks now!!! there are a few others too, like Gary!
but to check an injector, you can unplug it, or listen to it. to properly check it, go and have it flow tested and cleaned.

If there are any fueling problems I will pick up through the EGT gauge.

Yip from after the fuel filter and before the fuel rail.
I know this is not the best set up but the Wolf can control a 5th injector very well and it is still the best bang for buck.

Ok will do some research, I have asked Sokar to ask the Rotor guys if possible
I will see what other AFM can fit...

Again, Gary I'm not knocking your setup, it works and you're happy with it, but effectively you've just told phinx that to run a fifth injector he needs to get an EGT guage and a Wolf 3d system....
4 Bigger injectors are looking mighty fine at this point...
To me adding a fifth injector is like putting a bandaid on a cannon wound, if you wanna get more fueling, do it, do it properly, with a fifth injector you've just added 3 extra failure points into a working system, it doesnt make logical or financial sense...

i struggle to see how phinx will fuel his engine properly without using some sort of fuel management add-on to his normal ECU.
even with bigger injectors instead of a fifth one, he will need to control them somehow.

You are 100% correct, he has ordered something but is keeping very quiet about it...

Hehe, he first wants to see if it pans out before he makes any hype for it...

Yeah, you did say that, sorry to keep harping on, but I really think a fifth injector is a very hillbilly way of tuning

Unless you have all the supporting bits like Gary has...

Yeah I suppose it is a hillbilly way but then some say so is water injection.
