hey bruno. are u going to get a new bonnet any time soon? because im really pressed 4 time and would be willing to buy your bonnet if u willing to make a quick sale.

hey vlade. i found a guy that can make me a bonnet mould with vents and all. can i stil use ur bonnet to make the mould? then u can use the mould anytime you want

outa what does he plan to make it? (and i think whats bothering everyone is - will the original bonnet still be usable afterwards?)

The mould will be made of fibre glass. As far as I understand the origional bonnet will be the same. The origional bonnet wont be damaged in any way.

i like that. that is the exact style i wanted. when i get the mould made the i will get them to do it like that. after my bo nnet is made you can take a look and see u like the way they work.

Then you can use the mould and get one made from fibreglass or carbon or both. mine is going to be fibreglass. do u think i can pic up the bonnet over the weekend. my number is 0834435964 so we can arrange.

caveat: when fibreglass dries it contracts - and the fibre might make little spiderweb marks on the paint... i haven't used a mould that had paint on it, so i'm guessing. one time i started making lights and the one that i used ended up duller than the other. that I could polish out... but paint?

maybe they should put a plastic sheet over first... dunno

i dont know what they use exactly, but i know they put something on the bonnet to protect it.
