looks really good with the Greddy intake which I think is a must for this conversion. Is your motor standard, turbo, injectors, ecu etc?
I posted some time back on getting a SR20det front clip and my agent was not able to get a good one when he was over there and have now decided to get a RB front clip instead. I will use the r33 crossmember, loom, ecu and radiator and run it stock standard as my sx is my every day car, dont want to regret not going RB. As for the rev counter the front clips come with the cluster so maybe I can swop out the rev counter guts into the sx cluster...will see. I will try and get the r33 diff as I would like to keep the gearing std.
Thanks again
cool man.
I am still running standard turbo and injectors, Im running Dictator and boosting 0.4 for every day use doing 200kw and 300nm and if i want to run hard i boost it 1.1 on 105 gas doing 260kw and 457nm

that is awesome numbers for 0.4 you must have some other mods to get that. the std rb25 does 150rwkw at 0.4 unless you talking about at the fly which is about right

Yes it can, but then it gets hard. The sump is mm’s in front of the cross member. I will have to lift the motor and then have to cut in the bonnet or I have to remove the sump and modify the sump not to touch against the cross member. Then you will have to cut in the tunnel for the gearlever because it won’t line up and that means the plastic cover going over the radio, will have to be modified as well or you can fit the smaller box.

no other mods but yes that’s on the fly on the wheels its 170kw on 0.4 and 240 on the wheels on 1.1.

Hey Reyn S, did you have any issues with the clutch master cylinder? seems that one of the okes on the SXOC forum had to replace his master cylinder with a VR6 one as the inlet manifold clashed. Maybe it was because his motor is really far back.
Thanks again

Yes that can be why it clashed but what you can do is if you buy the same intake as mine cut out on the intake get it welded up and polish it again you won’t even notice that it was cut if you polish it up.
One thing you will have to change is the torsion bar in the front you can’t cut and weld it, it is spring steel I got one made up at Truck and Spring in Cape Town cost was R1500

Your intake is tops...where do you get locally and what is the price? I am getting the R33 front cut and I will use the r33 crosmember, do you think I could use the torsion bar from that?

Reyn S...did the clutch master clear with the stock rb inlet manifold...it looked like it did in your pics and did your bonnet close?

It cleared but the bonnet didn’t close it touched the throttle body but I think if you remove the throttle body and fit it in the front of the intake it will work.
