How big did you go VC....I went 40 vel....I understand 60 is almost the limit our blocks can go.....

Ok so you(VC) also went 40 fel...20fel is 0.5mm....ok....so the quistion still beggs....how far can our blocks go....anyone....that is taking into consideration that you still want it dependable....

i dont think much further than 40, but you could always resleave?

So if I go 20 fel over size....can I still use standard rings....I know more then you need but is it neccesary for 0.5mm over size

Forged pistons slap because ppl run HUGE bore clearances because u had to in the old days which in this day and age are not needed.

"Custom boring" Does this mean bore the block to suit the pistons? I thought that was the only way to build a decent engine.

Remove engine to fit Arias pistons and overhaul it later? Did I understand this correctly? Why doesnt it make any kind of sense?

LOL - i think he meant that he hopes the noise will go away when he removes the engine to overhaul it.

i hope that means that he will replace the pistons at the same time.
