That boost controller, does it hold the wastegate closed untill the boost level is reached?? In other words the turbo will spool up as if the actuator were disconnected?? What about boost spikes??

Dude the thing has all the bells and whistles (spelling)

It's a very nice unit doubles as my boost gauge.

It keeps the waste-gate closed to specified value has a gain system to control spikes and the boost

OK so it keeps the wastegate closed for as long as possible. What about IAT changes, ambient tempreture, etc does it compensate for these??

i think thats probably the R5000-00 version. and i do drive an x-trail, but i dont get to spend 3800 on a wide-band controller - oneshot!!!

[smilie=200sx_offtopic.gif] but doesnt your wolf system use and display A/F ratio???

Yes it does but it has to use a Bosch LSM-11 wideband sensor, which is more a wide range sensor. The sensor alone cost R2500 so I just got the Zeitronix, its a real nice kit.

It just doesn't sound cricket. 0.5 and even 0.55 bar is mighty low.

Who's dyno was it done at?

Well if it makes you feel any better, I have the run on video. And you can see the power figure on the projector. Was at a dyno day and many other cars ran their normal figures (mine were lower on the day than usual).

I would like to know what his figures would be at higher boost. C'mon phinx turn up the boost.

The important part of the graph is missing. On the left side down the power scale does it say Engine ambient corrected or words to that effect?

Says Ambient Corrected 24 % same as the other side.

Two Runs done back to back on the snail dyno, Qwerty has the Vid and the car runs at 8 psi , This run was done before the cam,Chip and new intercooler plus some other stuff.

I'm hoping to get her close to 160 RWKW at 0,55 bar, Then maybe 550cc injectors and a AFM plus chip and 200RwKW + at 1 bar
