What is the standard bore & stroke and compression ratio for the ca18det?
I have read in the manual that it's 83.0 * 83.6 and 8:5

I am thinking of the SR route now, will be coming to SA pretty soon. Going to try looking for a SR. Are there any places that you guys would recommend?

Mario here on the forum is selling one. Other than that most engine shops should have one or two

Hey guys,

I have a Nissan Sentra, twincam CA18DE. I am planning of putting in a CA18DET engine in end december.
I'm going to run in std. Don't want to fool around much. I'm just thinking of doing a copper gasket and going from 0.7 - 0.9 bar boost on the T28 SR20 turbo.

Does anyone have any advice for me and what should I buy, need to replace:

INJECTORS(what size???????)
Pistons
Rings
Mains
Big ends
Water pump
Oil pump
Gasket set FULL
Valves are still good
And need to get a turbo.

What do you recomend.??

Thanks
I got myself a alpine turbo manifold for the motor.
