k.y.l.e. wrote:Hey guys i did a little research found out putting in a ALS(anti lag system) is bad news for the turbo and exhaust it will kill the exhaust in 10-100km ,and as for the turbo it raises the turbo temperature to 800-1000+ region so i would not go near it,if you really want to shoot flames out the exhaust get a flame kit cost R800, it basically cosist of a spark plug and coil ,it is controled by a button inside the car when you press the button the spark plug ignites the unburnt fuel in your exhaust inturn shooting NICE BLUE FLAME'S with out putting your turbo at risk, the spark plug is placed inside the exhaust.Hope this helps
Thats all true for a real ALS. Im sure the OP was actually talking about 2-step limiters though.

Personally I'd risk using one (on my CA) as it would hardly be used anyway, SR's definately dont seem to like them though.

2-step, like a BEE*R etc

what about MSD, they sell a 2step unit, what does that do, i have seen some vids, to me it looks like it is just cutting spark, and then fuel ignites from exhaust temp causing the bang and flames?

The bee-r is an engine killer, as are most. Stay away if you don't have money to replace/fix your head.
