On the point of the TPS - you need to check the resistance between the pins. on a SR it is between pin B and C. and I think it has to be 0.7k or something. Am sure someone can help you with details on how to check it.

Thanks guy! I know of someone with spare coil packs will check it out! okie dokie lets see the coils first and see if it helps.
