Hi, one of my dicktator triple igniters stopped working on my RB25, had the same symptoms as you described.

Heat.... does your RB breathe excessively by any chance?

@tobie, i dont think so i dont notice anything from the breather system.could it be something from the breather system that i cant see or hear?

His RB25 had a bit of heat issues and breathed a bit, when we opened it up we got a sad sight... Couple of fried pistons.

sure it was white smoke , not steam? sounds like it could be head gasket
specially if its been over heating

irridiums will foul even faster than normal plugs, waste of time and money
rather get ngk bcpr6"or"7et

his car doesnt use dicktator ignitors - coils have built in ignitors

thanks rudeboy.that could possibly be it, the hg, how can you tell though without taking the head of?

trying to sort everything out, so have a new oem water pump on the way as well, hope i dont need to add a hg to that...

also ya the series 2 RB25DETs have built in igniters into the coils

Check for water in the oil and/or oil in the water (mayo type substance under the filler caps)

A pressure test on the cooling system will also tell you if the headgasket has gone.
