maybe your clutch fork broke?

or the clutch fork pivot?

or you ruptured a line?

or the piston o-ring has given up the ghost! (most likely)? but who knows when and where murphy the doos is gonna strike!

ok when stepping on the pedal the push rod on the operating cylinder moves the lever, when i touched the rubber on the cylinder a bit of fluid leaked out, but nothing dripped before that, is it possible that the piston is not moving the lever enough or could something inside the gearbox be buggered?

take the slave cylinder off the gearbox, remove the rubber nipplecap, slide the piston out.

you WILL get full of brake fluid. eish. but it rinses off with water, so dont stress.

take the sample with to the spares shop.

also get some superfine waterpaper, to smooth the piston and cylinder walls, before you reinstall.

you will also need to bleed the clutch system again, once everything is installed!

but still what bugs me is that the cylinder moves the plate on the gearbox but nothing happens, does the kit come with instructions?

it will move until the point where the pressure exerted on the seal is too great and then the fluid will leak.

i dont think it comes with instructions, but i think someone here has done it before and posted pics?

I am not sure if you tried it or not....or someone asked....does it select gears easely when the engine is off, does it go into gear....

To my opinion...if there was a leak at the slave cylinder, the brake fluid will become less at the master cylinder....if that does not happen something else is wrong.

I would start with the master cylinder.....that is also cheap to replace.

yea easily selects gears when the engine is off, I had to change gears without the clutch for a few blocks which was not a hassle, haha

when I lifted the rubber boot on the slave cylinder fluid did come out wouldn't say it was very major but was alot more than just a drop, I did not see any leaks at the master cylinder outside or in the car.

When by hand pressing the plate that the slave cylinder pushes I could not move it so its not lose.
