I don't think its the real deal, I know there are ton's of knock-off's on ebay so just be careful.I saw a GT2871 on ebay which i think you can land for under R4000 at present rate. Will that work?
I see your point but you get what you pay for, So far in my my experience's everything I have skimped money on I have gone back and replaced with the correct part costing me doublemy personal take on this is that most of the guys cannot always spend over R10000 on a turbo. Most guys are looking around R3000 - R5000.
