go look at the spring rates on the tein website.

www.tein.co.uk, or something like that.

IIRC - the stock spring rates are like 1.5 and 2 kgm or whatever the measurement is.

most coilovers are around 4-6 kgm, and then the drift spec ones are even higher, with a minimum being around 6 and 8. the ride is very uncomfortable on normal roads if your spring rates are at 6-8 or higher!

i reckon 4-5 is probably the best compromise for comfort and handling! or whatever the limit is on the super street coilovers.

All sounds very complex. I'll go check the Tein site aswell thanks.

So for example the rear shocks will start compressing if a force equal to 1.5kg per square cm is applied to the area of the spring at its tower.

That makes the 4kgm seem even high, as its more than double as stiff.

You sound smarter sometimes than other when you talk about these smart and complex stuff... Just kidding - Thanks

how can any of us ever really be sure about anything...

the only thing that's a certainty is how uncertain everyone can be...

yeah i agree...

i looked at his comment, and i thought "damn, what a way to start kak!"

but then i reread it, and i thought that perhaps he just means it literally looks sad, kinda like a down-turned face, with no intended harshness.

the same way a fiat mulitpla looks like a duck-billed platypus!!!

I disagree, the newer one looks a bit better, but the older model really deserves the ugliest car award. If you drive one, sorry, but thats my opinion.

Na I dont drive one but the design was purely function over form and because of that, it is beautiful.
