yeah thats probably the best bet actually.

if you do it though, i want to take detailed notes, even more detailed pics, and then post an ARTICLE in the article section.

it can go into mods too, but it definitely has to go in ARTICLES.

OK?

ok!
SSSHHHHH, dont talk so loud murphy might hear you.

Do you guys have the Fairlady Z in South Africa? I ask because the rear five lug hubs off of the naturally aspirated model will bolt directly onto the S13.

we do have them, and we do know this...

only problem is the fairlady is even more rare than the s14 in south africa!!!

Did some ground work on this issue and have found out the the front wheel bearing specs are: id=30 od=68 length=45 mm, bearing code 30bwd04ca19. I have a list of most front wheel bearings for most cars and there is no other bearing with a 30mm id and any slightly bigger od and length in order to machine the hub for the bearing to fit.
So I have now bought from the agents who had in stock bearings for R900 a piece all inclusive of vat. Damm, it was hard to let the bucks go...........

thats cheap dude. the last quote i got was almost two years ago and it was about 1200.00 incl VAT for each of the front bearings.

its a pity that you didnt find a suitable replacement bearing!

I remember them being at R1200 each some time ago, have some family on holiday in the UK and the only replacement bearing is a chinese one which I hear is not too good, a chap over there bought a set and did not last long at all. Original bearings over there are not much cheaper than the R900 we pay.
