ggg thanks for tha suport i went trough a corner that is very slipry touched the white line and liped into the pavement. the pannelbeter quoted me R68000!!! the only part of the car that is damaged is the parts mentioned. the body nothing only the lip is scrartche and cost R150 to fix
those other parts i mentioned are much cheaper than 68 grand, even if you pay in pounds and include shipping!!!
you can get all the adjustable suspension arms with rose joints too!!! i think i remember seeing the control arms for 400 odd dollars (US). thats about 3 grand for a set. even if you spend 30 grand, you still get hot modded suspension, and pay half the panelbeaters quote, and you can install them yourself!!!
the bearings and axles are a different story. the bearings i would get new from nissan, and the axles i would find used (but probably overseas).
now stop being a knob and leave the drifting to the track!!!!
Yea, well I did the body work on my car. Drifted into the centre island and painted my car yellow on the side with a robot, luckily it was just a scrape.
Anyways, most S13's do not have LSD's....
Is this true...
To identify if it does, someone told me you need to look for an orange sticker at the back suspension....

actually most do. SA ones anyway!!! they were fitted with a factory viscous LSD. not the best, but way better than nothing!
yes you can look for an orance sticker on the diff somewhere. i think its on top.
or you can do the test. jack both rear wheels off the floor. turn one wheel, if the other turns in the same direction then its LSD. if it turns in the other direction then it isnt LSD.
simple hey!

Are you sure that works?? The LSD cant be that sensitive, can it??
I jack the rear of the car up put in first gear on drive it on idle then try stop one wheel, if you get thrown to the front of the car the it is LSD if the wheel stops then its not.
I know if you dont put the correct oil in the diff the visous packs up and so does the LS, the oil you can only get from agents and they will fill it (wont sell it over the counter).
Had 2 sx's in now that the LSD doesnt work and it is because they used normal gearbox oil.

you could do it gary's way but it sounds awfully dangerous!!! or you could do it my way. its up to you!
as for oil, you get oil from spares places specifically for visous and clutch plate type LSD's. its about R115.00 per litre. seems to work fine in my car!
