Test pipe?

I have the decat which was £35.
The manifold, eblow and downpipe were second hand and I got it at a steal price of £80 all together from a mate.

If anyone is interested in this fitment it is as follows:
Front - 18x9.5 225/40/18 ET12
Rear - 18x10 235/40/18 ET12
Rolled arches with slight flare on rear. It rubs only on max compression which is rare as the suspensuion is stiff

yes mate, stretched for a reason, to fit them to the car with low offset and it's the drift "style". Looks badass

Also they are brand new Falkens and they recommend that 225 on 9.5" is the limit and that 235 is the limit on 10"

I've seen people put 195's on a 10"

those wheels suit the car perfect, nice job. Rota ftw

btw is there any advantage/disadvantage for going stretched with tyres??

Thanks bud,

No there is no particular advantage or disadvantage with a stretched tyre, If you over stretch the beading can come off under heavy load which is crap but if you are reasonable with the stretch then you can have a more agressive stance with wider lower offset wheels.

Besides looking cool, and making wide rims fit under tight arches... = hella. Streched tyres give less sidewall flex, there traction loss point is sharper when under sideways load. = hence drifters love to stretch em :)

Generally you'll find okes stretch the rears more than the fronts.. as you generally need more grip upfront when drifting :)

but you may have problems trying to ask your tyre dealer to stretch tyres onto wider rims.. they dont like doing it for safety reasons. Bring on the can of EGO and a lighter trick.. :)
