I have a bit of a delema.... Going wild on the CA or just going for a RB...
Thing is I don't know if my pockets are deep enough to go wild on the CA.

Thoughts?

It's gonna cost you less than an RB swap...

Great!!! Ok CA it is then.... Think it will be cheaper as well since the exhaust manifold and shit has already been made up... Will start stripping this weekend as soon as I am done with my Mini.

Thanks!

Before you do anything...decide what you want, a forged bottom end with some mild add ons will get you in the 300-400 WHP range...even more...with the right turbo....a SR will also get you there for slightly more than forged....

keep in mind, whatever you do...having a 700HP car is great...but it is not so easy keeping that on the road...unless you plan on drifting everywhere...and hope you miss all the obsticles in your way.

My opinion...300-400hp is easy enough to reach with the CA and the right parts...which will be the cheapest obsion. If you have the money to go RB or SR and go boss...do it by all means....

Also remember....every tom dick and harry is running rb's and sr's thease days....having a strong CA that competes with them is not so common.

Just my opinion...not trying to start and argument...with all due respect.

RB is expensive if you start going forged.

Ok going forged CA then... You guys willing to give me some advice while I am assembling? As I said. I aint no mechanic and only have 1 years worth of fitter and turner apprenticeship under my belt. So I am handy but when it comes to clearances and stuff I am useless... Well I have the manual as well though.
