any one else had a bad experience at import parts ???

Post by ZimNismoboy34 »

Hello everyone, so here goes my story, i wanted to support jerry, what a cool and nice guy i thought true to his word and runs a good operation.

Then well i wanted to order a ati damper pulley for my nissan skyline gtr34 and was asking for the different options, so he mentioned he could supply a 600bhp and a 900bhp, he also mentioned the 900 bhp was a 25% overdrive on A/C and 15% under drive on power steering etc, any ways i asked for a 600bhp damper paid a deposit.

When the order came i collected it and drove off into the sunset happy with my purchase, only to get home to zimbabwe and check the part number and it was a 900 bhp damper with a under drive over drive so problems now i didnt want a headache so called him .
His words were its what you ordered, so i said i havent fitted it please can we send it back, he recons "at your own cost we can".

So i was pissed off as ****
Some months afterward came to sa again.
Any ways let it ride and ordered some Greddy pro racing plugs for my rb26dett heat range 8.
Jerry said no stock will be getting, so i left my father in law with cash in Joburg and left homeward bound.
Any ways get home keep in touch with jerry and he recons the plugs are here .
My brother in law calls says the plugs are here you have these ones "Greddy Pro Racing heat Range 8" Jerry "yes we have them in stock now come collect"
So my brother in law and father in law go driving off on a friday afternoon to collect the 6 plugs.
They get there and have to wait cause he is dealing with another customer.
Half an hour later hmmm they get to see Jerry, he asks how can i help you they mention Adam from Zimbabwe he says yes let me get the plugs.
Goes up stairs looks for 20 mins comes back down says they didnt come..........$%#@
So my father in law pissed by this time drove all the way from Fourways to Jerry when he was in Edenvale, to get told the plugs they called about didnt come !!!!!!!
No apologies, no i will personally drop them off, no remorse, no admission of guilt.
Honestly when you run a business you dont give people a run around.
I approached Jerry said listen whats your problem why did you make my father in law waist his time make me look like an idiot and make you look like worse of a idiot.
Jerry says my supplier didnt send me the plugs and i didnt check.
No apology, no compromise nothing and i even asked for a apology cause of bad service on his part..... Got the answer "apologise for what"

Frankly to All you SA JDM car fans and american and German etc etc.... if you get shafted by a dealer or by a parts importer like IMPORT FARTS dont put up with it go to some one who will give a dam about your small sale and about your business cause frankly the customer comes first if you made a stuff up you made a stuff up fix it and make your customers happy dont be a tight A$$ and dont even apologise.
A happy customer is a customer who feels like they got the best deal and service in the world .

This and the shit with bad SA tuners is not exactly great for business. It's not giving me much of a good chance when I get to South Africa and get started is it?

Tell me do the South Africans hold a grudge against the industry because of this crap or against the individual businesses concerned?

From my experience, more against the individual businesses mon. Taken my SX to loads of local mechanics, all of them ending up breaking something extra. Only found one shop so far thats had amazing service and people that actually care about my car :D Are you going to come setup a tuning shop here in SA or somewot? If I may be as bold as to ask :D

If the best engine builder in gauteng and arguably the best importer in gauteng doesn't want to deal with you any more..where's the problem?

then the best can eat shit~!!! is he racist??? or do i look like someone who is not willing to pay? or he thinks he is the big shot that i have to beg him to sell me some stuff?~ i called him more then 20 times with out a single call back from him~!!! that why i decide to source performance parts myself~!!!
