i see many with 2 dump valve set up on the Sr20det when i was in NZ... does it really benifit anything or just for show?

BOV near turbo is for protection of the turbo. so there is no reverse flow through it due to pressure in the system
BOV near throttle body is to maintain airflow through the system.

Duel is cool since you have both advantages but a sufficient one near the TB should be good enough. :wink:

i run 2 as well one by mu turbo and one on my cold side the reason i run two is my hks couldn't flow enough with my bigger turbo so i got a lot of surge so had to add another dv in now its perfect the hks is set for high boost and the xcell for low

I've never understood the 2 dv's next to each other either :/

How do you set a DV that works on vacuum and pressure? if its set to "low boost" that means the spring is less tens and could allow you to loose boost as well?

no its set to std the one and the other has a 1mm washer behind the spring to incease pressure
