SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DRIFT ??

Venue: SAKS CIRLCLE INDUSTRIAL AREA, CT
In between Peter Barlow and De Beers Road

This event is geared towards all you petrolheads that think you can
drift. If you have a car and confident that you can drift/spin.. come
to this event and show the crowds and judges some sideways
action in one of our arena's.
For those who are interested in partaking in this spectacular event
please send me a message with details of your ride. We have a Tyre
Dealer that has come onboard and will have new and second hand
tyres at a very affordable price for those who require tyres.

This show will have multiple dates in which you have the
opportunity to show the crowds and judges some sideways action.
The date specified in event invite is when the first event will start and
not the only date as the show will run over the next 2 months.

Even if you are an amateur and believe that you have the talent to
spin your car in a controlled manner you may enter. The judges
and drift trainers have allocated the days prior to the event to give all
entrants a quick overview and tips to assist with drifting. This will be
followed with some drift demonstrations as well.
On the day of the first event you will have the opportunity to show
the crowds and judges your talent in a huge open arena and if you
demonstrate that you have talent you will continue to the next
qualifying round.

Next qualifying round is a bit more technical, you will have to drift
around some obstacles in a way that is prescribed by the judges.
Those that manage to complete this successfully will move on to the
DRIFT X ARENA. Please note that each driver will be given 2 practice
days to practice for each qualifying round and D1S trainers will be on
standby for some coaching.

The DRIFT X Arena is challenging and only the truly talented will
survive. The top drivers that manage to make it through to the
Finale and partake in a huge D1S Event and drift with the D1S Crew.

The Winner and runner ups will also win spectacular prizes.

So guys or girls.. this is your opportunity to kickstart your career in
drifting and become part of the fastest growing motorsport in the
world.

The event is also open to anyone in South Africa who has a valid
drivers license.

Hiya Everybody


Please note that 'So you think you can drift' is
a series and will transpire throughout the
festive season on various Sundays. The
purpose of the event is to identify talent and
develop drivers to a level in which they can
partake in Pro Exhibition events and Pro
Drifting event.

The event this weekend is prequalifying
which will allow the drivers to feel the surface
and familiarise themselves with the venue
and arena.

The good news is that Vic Pardel from Mzanzi
Rides will be managing this event in
collaboration with D1S, so all the drivers will
be in good hands.

ENTRY FEE FOR PREQUALIFYING EVENTS WILL
BE R10 and kids under 12 free. D1S Drivers will
offer drift rides for spectators and food and
beverages will be available on premises.
