Manifold pressure sensor length of pipe ?

HI, I need some advise on this, does the length of pipe matter from manifold pressure sensor to intake ?/

For example dictator built in map sensor to intake 1,2 m ??

short as possible mine is about 250 mm

Yes, but what if your ecu is inside of car ?
