250 a tank is bit high I do that on 36L as I never fill more than that, also a leaking seal problem.
Ummm a BOV on the stock ECU will cause a slight rise in petrol consumption, maybe make the spring a bit stiffer so it doesn't dump so often, to do that you got a screw or somthing mark it and start playing with it to tighten the spring.

lemme get this straight:
1.screw something
2.mark it
3.play with it
and that will make it tight???
that goes against everything i've learnt about these things!!!

That is a example of selective reading...you just see the words the brain are interested in...I get that sometimes

Vade,I think you must go see a doctor with that swollen o-ring!When my Ca18 gave up,overheated once then heat seized and still ran I got 4km on a litre of petrol.Surprisingly not really used oil!!
My car's a Hybrid - it burns gas and rubber

its a pity you didnt see vlade's instructions for making things tight again. you probably wouldn't have had to cut your swollen ring!!!!
vlade's method involves screwing, marking and playing to make it tight. your swollen ring would've enjoyed that much more!!!
hehehehe
