Project Pure Porn S14
The title might be far fetched but once the list is complete it should be close to... hopefully
Well to start the motor has been built as most of you would know from my previous posts here:
http://200sx.za.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3517
I won't be getting rid of it I think ever so this will be a long term project again
Some pics to get started:
Next up THE LIST

Personally I cannot wait to change the bumpers the front LOOKS nice but isn't.
So the preliminary list:
Work:
Lower suspension another 5-10mm front
Refit OEM Steering wheel - (Taking off the MOMO one - dont like it in this car)
Make new mounts and fit my Tanebe front strutbar (kept from my old STi)
Shopping list:
Wideband O2 - to get the car to a decent state of tune at least.
Nistune + Z32 MAFS/Apexi PowerFC djetro - to make sure it is tuned right.
Mounts for guages - be it on the pillar or whatever.
New Sound system.
New front brake disks.
Interior re-trim.
Wish list:
550cc Injectors.
Titek carbon plug cover.
Greddy Plenum.
Bodykit - ORIGIN Streamline/Navan/something similar - depending on $$$.
Universal full polished Jap-style rear box.
New front tension rods.
etc. etc. etc.

As soon as I have a kit fitted and painted the front and rear bumpers will be for sale.
little update:
Front suspension lowered another 10mm more or less.
Fitted OEM steering wheel.
Hopefully get the wideband end of this month. Have decided to go with a Innovate LC-1 and one of their guages in blue.

So a little update again. Will put some pics up later. Have actually done this a little while ago but anyway...
Wideband O2 -Fitted the LC-01 Kit and would recommend it highly.
Finally got myself a Nistune fitted ECU and bought a licence too. must say that so far I LOVE IT! works great, really easy and I can actually datalog for just about infinity and not just short whiles.
Mounts for guages - Got the one from Cape Town Drifter he gave away a while ago as well as the EZ-pod from Tein which gives me 2 52mm guage spots on the steering column.
New VDO guages fitted that match the OEM cluster (oil pressure and oil temp...still need to fit oil temp sensor though)
HKS EVC-S Boost controller - Still trying to figure it out
Greddy (freddy) plenum fitted. (trying to still get a sticker for it...)

OK so update and disappointment...
First dyno only yielded 140KW and 269Nm
That said I have been working 2 weeks (off and on) to find and possibly cure the boost drop without results. However I did fix a leak between the turbo and manifold, a bad leak in the manifold where they forgot to weld it and a sticking wastegate.
I finally found the problem in a last desperate attempt to cure the boost drop. I placed a bracket on the waste gate locking it closed. brought the revs up to 5000-5500RPM and nailed it.... Nothing! still only a measly 0.4bar!
So I started measuring up the turbo and the intake wheel is FAR undersize! I went to the dyno and made what I could. Even if the boost only saw 0.6bar for a second. At around 4000 RPM it made 140KW (no idea at what boost though - woulda dropped by then already). Hopefully with a reworked turbo it will finally hold 0.6, 0.8 on setting A on the HKS EVC-S and then 1bar on setting B.
Maybe save some face at the next event.
More pics soon too...
