RB25DET 200SX S13

Post by richardRB25DET »

Good day all and everyone.
Im new on this forum and would like to ask you chaps some questions regarding my Nissan SX.

Firstly it is a S13 fitted with a RB25DET and 5 speed gearbox.
It is running on a Goteck Pro MFI management system, T3/T4 hybrid turbo and weiseco forged pistons.

I bought the car the beginning of this year and up to date only driven it from the transport company's yard to my house.
The car was bought up in joburg and I had it brought down on a truck.

The conversion was done by a so called reputable car builder in joburg, claiming he is a specialist in RB conversions.
The truth is the workmanship and fabrication was done in such a manner that the car is a potential death trap.

On my own time i started striping down all the defective and poorly constructed components and replaced them with OEM parts.
The problem is I dont have spare time to complete the car.
Most of the critical work has been done, the motor has been fitted along with the gearbox and drive shaft.

I want to find out whom can I take my car to that will be able to complete the setup along with giving it a good dyno tune?

The following still needs to be done:
-engine mountings need to be strengthened
- new imported aluminum radiator needs to be fitted
- boost, fuel press, air/fuel and oil temp gauges need to be installed
- goteck system needs to be properly mapped and set on a dyno
- new OEM suspension brackets need to be fitted
- all water hoses needs to be replaced
- general service and timing belt change.

My aim is to have the car professionally finished and then to sell it, I unfortunately do not have the time for my hobbies any more.

I live in cape town and want to know whom I can use in this area to complete my car.
I have heard that Ferolli in Kirlarney gardens is the rout to go.

Please advise me on whom is trust worthy and that will do a good job.

Many thanx Richard Abbott

Eish, stay far away from Ferrolli! He doesnt know anything about a Nissan! He must just stick to VW!

Take it to Wynand (RB25SX here on this forum). His place is in Somerset West. He knows his stuff, here with him if he can sort you out.

Get hold of Wynand RB25SX wynand vlok [jwvlok@yahoo.com] .
He has helped alot of guys on the forum in Cape Town with no complaints

Robbie will promise you he is the shizzz but my car ran on limp mode until it was properly road mapped ,His fabrication work is excellant but he does not spend the time mapping it properly= his downfall
He is also expensive and will take a long time if you dont hassle him as he is busy .The king of VW in CT  NOT Nissan

Good luck
