bogging down question

Hey Guys

My friend has an S13 with a CA and he is having a problem when he accelerates flat out in 1st then changes to 2nd and keeps it flat out and when it comes to about 5k revs it boggs down in front almost like it is starving for fuel or something. but if he accelerates progressively in 2nd then it doesn't bog down. So basically it only happens when he is accelerating flat out

What could cause this?

sounds like fuel pump. fit walbro and look from there

What mods have you got?

Any other running issues with the car?

Is the bogging down exteremly noticeable or does it just feel like it's flat?

+1 Might be FPR but fuel pump is the likeliest.
