it depends on the make of the tyre aswell. Rather get the spec from the tyre manufacturer.

Rat is correct, 225w x 18"d x 35p x 25os. also purely based on front shock tolerance. you can run upto 245 or 255 on the back. I would try see with a friendly mag store if they can sell you a combo set with 225 on front and as wide as possible on rear.

I was stupid and got 225 all round, now am stuck having to find someone to widen rears at a good price reliably.

hey, im also in the works trying to find the right set of wheels for my car...

7.5j=225

if you wana run 255 go for 9j wheels, and from what i can tell the best is a narrow/wide setup

but alas, finding the right wheel to match the 4x114 pcd of the s13 is abit of a biatch

so far ive found nothing locally that will satisfy me without either changing the hubs, or getting spacers made up, or widening a set of wheels.
for me for the price it would cost to get the wheels the way i want here, i'm thinking of ordering from the states, got so much more option then, and you can really get exactly what you want and need

my opinion
some of the wheels im looking at, 17" 8j front and 9j rear, will cost about 7k to get the wheels, shipping and duties+-

so ya, my 2c
