I had mountings made up at Seals and Devices in Alberton.

Got them made out of rubber 55 or 60 sure hardness, 100mm diameter and 65mm thick. Just make sure you give them the right stud size, these are way better that the jaguar mounts.

They are stiffer than stock but not as hard as nismo mounts, won't shake up your car and keeps your engine nice and sturdy.

No problem, you can make them harder but it rattles up your car so plastic will be too hard.

you dont have the dimensions of the studs to hand do you.. dont feel like stripping the mount if i dont need to?

I might make it a bit harder as the car is a full on drift spec, no interior to speak off, and a 500kw RB25 motor, which is heavier than stock too ;)

Thx man!!

I think its 10mm OD and 40mm long should do, I made mine 12mm OD and resized my brackets on the car. The jaguar or ford mounts have the right size nut. Give me a call I'll explain. 083 5488 400 Richard.

i found that eventually jag and ford mounts shear off, due the roughly 45 degree angle of the mounting bracketry versus the 90 degree strength of the mounts.

so use them by all means - but keep an eye on them.

i would say that a better option (still cheap) is the CA20 mount for the nissan skyline found in the partquip catalogue at most spares shops! although i never tried them, they had the same design as the nissan originals.
