been a while
ive been scratching for somewhere to use the SX, if i use it on the street it just wants to get me in trouble
heard about the oval in richards bay, but everyone i spoke to about it reckoned it wasnt good for drift, too small, tight bla bla... well they were right .. but they were also wrong
It is flippen tight, and theres a moerse' wall if you duff it.. but i had the track to myself a boot full of tyres .. so i was happy
this is my second drift practice session on a track since owning the SX.. so im still very much in the learning phase.. and that wall comes quick and is fluppen scary .. but i managed to miss it a couple of times and just had an awesome day...
Ive got some cool vids, but my movie cmpressor isnt operating.. will sort it...

Yup, the receptionist lady was very keen, especially to get a drift event going .. but be warned.. the tar on the oval is the same as heketh, and it chows tyres up quick. the skinny go-kart track in the middle has a newer surface but is very skinny. But i dont want to put owes off, becuase there's definitly fun to be had there for us RWD's

Nice, looks awesome. Will have to take junk tires tho. I'm definitely keen, when my sx is ready... end of the year if I'm lucky...
Will come along to watch though next time.
We should make a plan to go down and have a braai and some drift one weekend.

There are some sweet braai/viewing spots there, with thatch roofs.. there was even a jacuzzi / pool .. ha. but that spot gets way hotter than durbz so water is a must !
Spoke with the receptionist again this afternoon, she has apparently been chatting to the NDS guys in an attempt to secure one of the NDS rounds there
In the mean time we can organise a little fun day there, stuff around a bit. 180km from durban, 1:40minz approx. so its really not that bad... seems there's a bit of interest so i'll start a thread in events...
