15 to 20 kgs = sound deadning tar
back seat bealts + fittings. rear seats, Spare wheel. rear door panels, roof linning, carpets.. all rear plastics, ABS computer box...

i would say... from my experience 40kg + from the interior alone, leaving the essentials/nice to haves up front.

... why? :).. do i smell a track toy?

if you seriously gut that machine i reckon it could be as much as 100kg's.

but i mean seriously get rid of everything that doesnt serve a purpose, and replace heavy things with lightweight alternatives - specially those front seats!!!

you'll be surprised at how much redundant wire is in that car. rewiring alone can get quite a few 10's of kilo's. what i mean is strip out all the wire and have the vehicle completely rewired.

ja if you dont mind losing a couple creature comforts then definitly take out the heating system, it runs hot water from the engine into the dash. But personally id leave the cooling fans in, take my word minus the AC, minus the carpets and sound deadning and it gets real hot in there, especially on a hot race track.
