Speed sensor
Can anyone tell me how many "pulses" the speed sensor send to the speedo per 1 rev of the output shaft. Is it only one or is it multiple pulses, if so, how many.

You can calculate it...
Measure the radius of your tire... jack the car up, put in neutral... make one full turn... check the driveshaft for the amount of turns... and pulses
so lets say your tire covers 1.2m you will and your shaft turns 4 times and it gives 4 pulses you'll work on the following
that gives you 0.92592 pulses per second if your car is moving at 1km/h
I guess
I got that by
1000m / 1.2 m = 833.3333x
833.3333x X 4 = 3333.3333x
3333.3333x / 60 / 60 = 0.92592 pulses per second at 1km/h
I think after all that I just missed the point

Hi vlade, I think you missunderstood me, I need the amount of pulses per propshaft rev and not per tyre rev. Some gearboxes have got like a trigger wheel inside it with more than one point, so it sends out more than one pulse per prop revAnd some senders that run on a gear on the shaft also sends out more pulses. I'm not sure how many the SX box sends out.
probably because he needs to merge the 'box that is attached to the 1UZ-FE to the speedometer in his cabin.
what about taking a multimeter reading off the speed sensor cable that comes off the gearbox of the original box hennie???
then you can measure how many pulses you get per rev?
