whats wrong with my car?? please help!

hey everyone, so heres is my problem, i have an s13, with a CA18DET.

A little while ago i noticed a problem, that my car wasnt idling properly. it was sort of skipping. so i went to get it checked and i needed some exhaust gaskets replaced, it was fine after that. lately, if i came home from a drive the idling would go so bad that the car was almost stalling, if i gave it a bit of gas it would correct itself. after a while it did it even when i was driving, like pulling up at robbots. i have to heel and toe, to keep the revs up to stop it from cutting out.i wanted to get it checked but didnt have time, so i left the car standing for a few days, and when i drove it again, it was okay for like a day. then the next day, same things happened. Now its gotten to a point where it barely idles at all. And also i noticed in the last few days a huge increase in the amount of fuel it uses. I was testing the consumption so yesterday i put in R50, just to see, and i drove about 20Kms and the car was out of fuel.leaving me stuck on the road.i can smell the car is burning so much fuel. Also when i drive it with a light foot, changing gears at a normal rate its fine, although its been backfiring flames excessively, but if i put my foot down, the car does like n almost cut out thing. the whole car jumps and then starts boosting.Some people say it could be ecu, or just an ecu sensor.. i donno, but its really irritating, where can someone check it for me and just fix whatever is wrong with it? cos driving like this is just bad for the car and for the money, at this fuel/distance ratio, i might aswell be driving in a lambo.. The car has a dastek chip, which i did have tuned in the seconfd half of last year, so plese help me someone, where should i go or who can sort it out for me??.. thanks.

Have the guys who did the chip first check the chip out. Ill say you are over fueling.

Probably overfuelling becase some sensor is faulty, like the air flow meter. You could try cleaning that out. Also check that everything is ok with the fuel pressure regulator.

Everything points to your MAFS. If you want you can come over to my place and we can clean it, I have proper MAFS cleaner and we can see if it helps. PM me.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.

If you spit fire while driving it can also be a spark problem, my GTS is doing most of what you just stated, and I found that it was a bad connection to the positive of the coil drivers.
