Gear and Diff oils

hi,

I am looking to change the Gear and diff oils on my S14.

As far as i know i need about
2.5L Gear oil
1.5L Diff oil 75w90
Is this correct?

What brands should i go for?

diff = 1.8 if you got oil cooler

i use redline

the manual says 80w90 is also fine. I am running castrol 80w90 in the diff and box. :wink:

Redline is the best but for the g/box alone will be about R900 and diff oil about R600. Its sold in quarts so you need 3 for the g/box and 2 for the diff.Import Parts is also an agent for Redline.Castrol isn't so expensive but does a good job also.The redline made my g/box a lot quieter though.
