Aircon-Bridge

Post by Charlvdw »

So you've got a after market ecu and your air con isn't working, no sweat just connect pin 6 G/Y to pin 46 L/G(on the main ecu plug) and everything is cool. The only catch is that the air con wont switch off when you put foot like it does(or suppose to do) with the std ecu. If you're running something like a xms with set points you can use this with a NC relay to accomplices the switch off effect under certain conditions.

I'm not sure bout the pin out on the R32 but it should work the same. The ecu just activate a fast idle when the air con is switched on and cut the air con when more power is needed.
Looks like pin 9 and pin 46 for the R32 Tobie.

I would like to thank Charl, he sorted my aircon this weekend, in the end it was not that easy because my standard wiring was a mess.....but after scratching the head for some time and a good deal of on...ja.....off....ja....on....ja it was sorted.

Thanks Charly
