Lots of school money , but now i know what I want, so I can build something decent with forged internals... Hope to see the results in the near future.

I think we should creat a 'how to' about this topic as it seems to be coming up often ,
If S14 Puppy can post his parts needed we can start this,Hopefully all the guys who have done the convertion themselves like Gary and RB25SX can help with pics and advise
If there is enough interest, I can build RB engine mounts with all with everything needed to fit it into SX, but it will take some time to have it laser cut and weld together, then cost per mounting set could be about R1500. That would be straight bolt on then. Need a few people to make it worth while. Busy building new mounting plates for RB30 now.
Ok, this is my grocery list for the conversion and hopefully I got it right this time.
Hopefully I wont be needing everything as the car has still a few thiings that can be used in my eyes but I hope that you guys can point out there areas where I might be out....
RB25DET engine
RB25DET gear box (fatboy)
ECU Harness
flywheel
Clutch
R33 cross member & mounts
water pump
oil pump
thermostat
radiator
fuel pump
fuel filter
spark plugs
electric fans
custom throttle cable bracket
management system (TBO or MOTEC)
fuel pressure regulator
GT3096 or T66 ball bearing turbo
boost control
down pipe
turbo exhaust manifold
drive shaft modification ???
removal of aircon
prop shaft mod (bigger yoke to be fitted & shaft shortened by 20mm)
intake manifold
External wastegate, dumpvalve(can use std RB25), If u go with big turbo and new intake, u can just aswell upgrade injectors. 550-750cc, new intercoole piping.
If u dont have R33 crossmember, they are not easy to find. easy to build mountings on std crossmember.
Then lots of labour and time.
Thanks RB25SX as I forgot about the external wastegate and dumpvalve. Could I still use my GReddy Type R dumpvalve?
I am interested in the mountings that you can build but I know the price all depends on how many orders you get....
The R33 cross member can be imported as my friend found some on the internet but if that doesn't work out then I would have to go the other route with the standard to be modified...
I still have the std turbo for the RB25DET which I think that I will use until I have bucks...
