BEST ECU/ECU upgrade to use???

Post by phoenix s14 »

From all the okes with experience... what is the best way to sort out management on a s14 with SR20DET??? considering cost and function... I would like to keep all the stuff working in the car like he oem system does but have the ECU fully tunable... i.e. If I decide to boost up... edit the map and tune it and done... no cold start issues no spluttering etc etc...

I have been reading up about that and have considered it also. Am going to try the Bikirom type 2 board again once everything is back in the car and see whether we can get that setup... Was thinking about piggyback boxes as well but not sure how well all of them work and which ones have really been proven... Will see what happens with the bikirom...

 Sorry buddy bought it from the Koukie ,It is the most flexable system I have used ,all factory systems are retained but can adjusted even the VCT can be adjusted.Just a bit of getting used to .
My S13 has a Dicktator ,in my opinion it does not come near to NIStune

Perfect Power :) .It works but its not easy to tune and experienced tuners are in short supply.
