Well it sounds like my starter is on its way out...
When I tried to start the car today the starter slipped like 5 times.
Normally the battery is a bit drained and it struggles to start... but this time the battery was fully charged and it still struggled... then slipped....
Will I be able to rebuild the starter myself or will I need to take it in to someone to do it for me?
Or will it be better just to get a new/secondhand one??
Please... I need to get my car sorted... and this in another hump in the freakin road....

might be just the solenoid.. if the starter clicks, but does not spin, prolly solenoid, easy to replace yourself.. if the starter spins but engine does not turn, then its prolly the bendix, in which case rather have it rebuilt..
Well the starter spins and then tries to crank the motor. but every now and again it "slips"... Plus my car is still miraculously draining my battery when the car is standing... even just overnite... so not sure if that might also be causing kak....

eish.. that slip-slip over a too long period will wear away/damage the ring-gear teeth.. then its recon flywheel too, or new flywheel, so dont leave it too long
