free flow = 2 silencers vs a standard 3.

on a turbo car you only need a back box really unless you want a fairly quiet car

to answer your question price seems good considering they are giving you a branch or manifold.

mild or stainless system and what size xhaust?

not to bad... but why the branch?

you need a downpipe for the turbo and then the exhaust.

Also whats the size? 63mm? 76mm?

We are talking about a SX exhaust here right?

yeah the stock one is 52, so you wouldn't gain anything. and a branch will only work if you don't have a turbo on the car.

So with that... the R2800 is way to much to pay for that system. You need at least a 63mm exhaust, and you don't need a branch.

I got a qoute form HiQ for R1300 for a 63mm freeflow. and I supply my own downpipe.

So I think shop around a bit more.

You should be able to get a full 76mm exhaust for around R3k

76mm! 2 box if you want it quiet, 1 box most people go for. And try for a down pipe as well. Manifold equal length would be nice but if you still running the std turbo i don't see it making much difference

76mm, with turbo cars less restriction is best.

branch (some people call the turbo manifolds, turbo branches) will also have gains, even on standard turbo as long as the flow is better than the previous setup...thus creating greater velocity at lower RPM improving low end torque and responsiveness...

there is no guarantee though seeing its a custom "branch"/manifold...

as previously stated, make sure the guys at this place know what an SX is first...

this topic including pricing has been discussed a couple of times and prices for just the exhaust including downpipe range between R1200 to R4000 depending on what system is chosen. (R4000 being the stainless 76mm pipe) - thus excluding the manifold

Std sx down pipe is 63mm, right?

f thats true, then can you put a 76mm exhaust flanged to 63mm down pipe?

Or must you change the down pipe to a 76mm?
