Project - S13 Awesomeness
The time for the RB25DET has come, *Star Wars intro music starts to play*
Dont think there will be much info here since garys doing the swap and he is far away from me. Any of the durban people going past garys place are welcome to take pics for me. Will try keep all updated with costs. This is going to be a "budget build" but we all know how those normal turn out. Will post pics abit later
I am trying to build a all round car. Daily Drive plus some track days and drifting. Will be using my GTi-R turbo as it is bigger than the std RB's one, should be good for 200rwkw maybe a bit more.
Some goodies so far are:
D2's - not sure if i will fit them might be to hard for a daily drive, advice?
Z32 TT Front calipers with braided hoses

I'm not sure about the D2's for road use, my tein springs are about as hard as I'd want to go for a daily. If it not really gonna be a daily then go for it. I think the D2's are more than double as hard as my springs (depending on what springs rates u get).
Before deciding maybe try organize a ride in Brendans sx to see how they are.

Hi Rat ,good luck with this build,Hope you are able to keep it 'Budget',Its very hard with these RB's
On the D2's ,Any coilover is not great for daily,You cannot have good handling AND stock comfort,Its just impossible but the D2 coilovers are not bad ,I drove in Rudeboys car and i honestly did not feel that he had coilovers and when we were going 260km plus the car was sitting brilliantly on the road,So fit the coilovers i think
Oh and another thing,Ask questions and take peoples advise on this swop who have done it,You can get seriouslly burnt money wise if you do things wrong/twice like i did

id fit the d2 well i was going to buy them then you came along haahaha but with the power and i dont care if i have to wear a kidny belt and gum gards it my life
i got to go to gary to get a few suspension things from driftz old pile and ill take pics if anything done
