CA Loom Transplant

Post by antman »

Hi guys, beeg question... when I upgrade to a SR20T VVT motor/box/ecu and loom from the front cut that I am planning, the CA motor/box/ecu etc is going to go into my Triumph Spitfire and the question is...........is the CA loom for the control of the motor one loom or is it combined with the main loom and have to be cut/removed from the main loom? I am sure there must be some cutting of sorts.
Thanks

The looms are separate. Thus you are going to remove the whole CA loom and replace it with the SR one. A few wires will need to be changed.

I think I linked the PDF somewhere on how to do the wiring....
