Thanks Riekert, I'll start a project once I'm ready and have all my toys and K@K ready to go in. Will also do a project on Full Custom Bodykit once I can find some stock bumpers at a really for nothing price..

I have decided to buy a front cut ( slope top), has everything and run it stock for the mean time, the front cut is R16k and can be started on the floor so can be checked before you buy. If you buy a motor and g/box only its costs around R16k any way so rather buy the front cut and get the ecu, loom, radiator and all the little bits in the engine bay.

Yip, found 2 places here in jhb who have, one has got one f/cut (japan) but thats a black flat top,and the other orders for you, they give 3 month/5000km guarantee as well, 8k deposit and 2 weeks later when it arrives another 8k ( slope top)and then the fun begins. Its the starting on the floor that makes this attractive, buying loose motors is always a risk.

very good choice you made there anthony... other than the engine itself, the wiring harness and ecu make it totally worth it. no having to buy a system, set it up and tune it yourself, its all there as part of the deal.

in fact - with a front cut like that, at that price... you may be the first to do the swap for less than 20k!!!

Umm, I'm sitting at a total of R19100.00 as a total, This includes VVT Motor, 5 Speed Gearbox, Dictator FMS, Installation, Dyno & Possibly a new Radiator if I play my cards right, currently busy with the deal....
