DBN Breakfast Run

Post by Gary57 »

Hey guys since the last event was such a flop lets try a morning run for those that are scared of the night.

Lets meet nice and early (when its very cold) when there is no traffic and take a drive out to somewhere for breakfast. Lets try get as many guys to join as possible, think the most we have had is like 7 SX's, aim to beat that.

Date, Time, Place???

I'm thinking since we have done the north coast and the south coast, maybe we should go inland? Maybe take the M13 out of Durban, turn off onto the R103 (Old main road) before it meets the N3, and then wind our way to the N3 and carry on up to PMB and find a winpy to chow at?? Just, I have no idea what the condition of roads on the R103 are like.

Yeah the inland idea sounds cool, the R103 roads are KAK. Can go get a chow at The Pot and Kettle... Dont really know any other spots. There is a Wimpy in Waterfall, can take the Kloof gorge road  .

The ST club did a brunch run to the pot and kettle a few months ago, N3 to the bottom of Inchanga, then turn off onto the olf road and wind your way back past drumond to the Pot and Kettle.

Nice set of windy roads once you turn off the N3.
