Im bringing in a few. Comes with driver cd. Will probely sell for around R100 each.
(Not asuming you dont know ,but this is the cable youll use between your newish laptop and you aftermarket ecu ie. gotech/dictator/Perferct Power)

As VC said, the cheaper ones are horrible!

The only one we eventually got to work was a Mever brand one my work got for around R250!

I bought 1 locally for like R100, worked so well I bought another 2 just incase one broke. 2 years later its still going strong...

Ok so it is usb on the 1 side and serial 9 pin on the other....does the program pick it up....I used an usb to serial adapter but still no success...no communication

Theres a company called the cable guy in Randburg strijdom park.

They will make up one for you, and you can test it until it works, they can make anything for devices to communicate.

Well its done. I looked around first and Our suppliers could only give it to me at R250 , moer of a diff i'd say. Now they just have to work which i think they will cause i also didnt go for the cheapest i could find either, but ill post when its here.
