SR Choking while driving Hard....

Post by Riekert »

Hey guys... quick Q...

My SR is running relatively good... driving lightfoot its fine no issues throughout the rev range.

But when I floor it it starts to choke. as if its not getting fuel/boost issue... or something.

The only thing I can think of is the fuel pump, still running stock S13... any Ideas??

Have you got a fuel pressure guage, check the pressure when it happens, if it drops then look at another pump, chances are good because you have a standard s13 pump....

Where you getting your walbro from....last quote I got was R1600+

Off the toppic but remember that if the $ = R8-50 youll still get your $ for about R9-00 thanx to lack of regulation of our banks .They call it dependence of currency fluctuation(aka bullshit). For example when i paid for my datalogger the sms from amex i got said R2298.26 , but once it appeard on my statement it was R2405.00 which come to about R8-62 to the $. I have the exchange rate up on my screen the whole day and during the time between the sms and it apearing on my statement the $ never reached even R8-40.
